Energy Price Forecast EU / Great Britain

Plan ahead with GB electricity price and CO2 forecasts

Compare the coming hours for flexible electricity use. See published day-ahead prices and the model forecast separately, or switch to estimated carbon intensity.

Beta: new models and a growing live history. Forecasts are not guarantees.

England, Scotland and Wales only. Northern Ireland is not included.

One region, two views

The GB region covers England, Scotland and Wales. Northern Ireland is not included: it belongs to the separate Irish Single Electricity Market.

The web app offers hourly curves and a five-day overview for electricity prices and CO2. Times follow Europe/London, including British Summer Time. The available horizon depends on the latest successful update.

New market, still in beta

GB uses its own price and CO2 models and source data, not values copied from another country. Forecast quality can differ from established markets, and longer forecast horizons are still being evaluated.

The 30-day history builds up from actual live operation. Missing observations stay missing; historical research replays are not presented as live forecast performance.

A market signal, not your electricity bill

Prices are shown in pence per kilowatt-hour (p/kWh), in GBP. They are wholesale base prices, without your supplier margin, network charges, taxes, VAT or standing charge.

A cheaper wholesale hour does not automatically reduce your bill. Any financial benefit depends on your actual tariff and how it follows market prices. GB retail-price estimates are not currently offered.

Web beta first

GB is available in the web app. This release does not extend the public automation API or promise GB support in an already installed Android version. API integration guides for other markets should not be treated as GB setup instructions.
